8 BYOK Integrations Inside GTM OS
Every external tool the OS connects to uses Bring Your Own Key. Here is each integration, what it does, and why BYOK matters for it.

The problem with bundled tools
Most platforms bundle external services and mark them up. You pay a premium for data you may not need, you cannot see the underlying source, and your data sits in someone else's system. Worse, if you leave the platform, your integrations disappear.
We took a different approach. The GTM OS uses BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) for every external connection. You plug in your own accounts, your own API keys, and your own credentials. We proxy the calls on your behalf with encrypted key storage. You pay each provider directly at their own pricing. We charge nothing extra for the integration layer.
When you disconnect a key, it is deleted from our system. No lock-in. No markup. No data we should not have.

1. AI Provider (OpenAI / Anthropic Claude / OpenRouter)
- →Multi-provider architecture. The OS supports three AI providers out of the box: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and OpenRouter. You choose which one powers your coaching, assessment grading, and roleplay sessions by setting a single environment variable.
- →What it powers. The AI coach (GTM Advisor) uses your provider for context-aware guidance that references your ICP, DISC profile, deal pipeline, and uploaded documents. Assessment grading uses AI to evaluate strategic thinking, not just multiple choice. The roleplay simulator runs full discovery call and objection handling sessions scored on 12 dimensions.
- →Why BYOK matters. AI API costs vary dramatically by model and usage. With BYOK, you pick the model tier that fits your budget. Use GPT-4o for deep coaching and a lighter model for quick assessments. OpenRouter gives you access to dozens of models through a single key. No per-seat AI surcharge from us.
- →RAG pipeline included. The platform uses pgvector embeddings over 200+ lesson chunks plus your uploaded documents. Your AI provider handles the generation; we handle the retrieval and context assembly.
2. CRM (Attio)
- →Bi-directional pipeline sync. Deals you track in the OS push to Attio automatically. Stage changes you make in Attio (or via Attio automations) flow back into your OS pipeline view. Every deal stage transition is tracked in both systems.
- →On-demand contact enrichment. Click "Enrich" on any deal card and the OS pulls Attio's firmographic data: company size, industry, tech stack, funding stage, employee count, LinkedIn URL, inline, without leaving the app.
- →Deal stage tracking. The OS pipeline uses stages: Lead, Contacted, Meeting, Proposal, Won, Lost. Loss reason logging and conversion rate calculations happen automatically. Attio mirrors this structure so your reporting stays consistent across both tools.
- →Why BYOK matters. You own your CRM data. If you outgrow the OS or switch platforms, your Attio data stays intact. Attio's free plan includes enrichment and solid B2B SaaS coverage, so you can start without additional cost.
3. Email (SMTP/API + Hunter.io)
- →Hunter.io domain search. Enter a company domain in the ICP Builder or List Building lesson tools and Hunter returns verified email addresses for that company, without opening a separate tab. Results exist in your browser session only. We do not write email addresses to any database.
- →Outreach sequence sending. The Cold Email track (Track 4) teaches you to build sequences and then send them through your own email provider. Connect your SMTP credentials or email API key and sequences send directly from your domain, not ours.
- →Deliverability stays yours. Because emails send from your domain with your credentials, your sender reputation belongs to you. No shared IP pools, no platform-mandated sending limits, no surprise domain blocks because another customer sent spam.
- →Why BYOK matters. Email deliverability is the single biggest variable in outbound. Shared email infrastructure means shared risk. With BYOK, your reputation is entirely in your control. Hunter's free tier gives you 25 searches per month, enough to build a first prospect list without paying anything.
4. LinkedIn (Manual + AI-Assisted)
- →Profile optimization. The LinkedIn AI track (Course 26 in Track 4) walks you through optimizing your LinkedIn profile for inbound leads. The AI coach reviews your current headline, summary, and experience sections and generates specific rewrite suggestions based on your ICP.
- →Connection strategies. The OS generates personalized connection request templates and follow-up message sequences based on your target buyer personas. These are drafted inside the platform and you copy them to LinkedIn manually: we do not automate LinkedIn actions to protect your account from restrictions.
- →LinkedIn analysis during onboarding. If you provide your LinkedIn URL during onboarding, the platform extracts business signals (industry, positioning, network size) to calibrate your AI coaching from day one.
- →Why BYOK matters. LinkedIn automation tools that use your credentials carry real account risk. Our approach keeps you in control: the AI generates the strategy and the copy, you execute it manually. Your LinkedIn account, your actions, your reputation.
5. Calendar (Meeting Scheduling)
- →Discovery call booking. When your outreach converts to a meeting request, the OS integrates with your calendar for scheduling. Link your scheduling tool and booked meetings automatically update your deal card in the pipeline tracker.
- →Pipeline stage automation. A booked meeting can automatically move a deal from "Contacted" to "Meeting" in your pipeline, keeping your board accurate without manual updates.
- →Pre-call prep. The Sales Methodology track (Track 3) teaches discovery frameworks including BANT, MEDDIC, and SPIN. Before a scheduled call, the AI coach can generate a prep brief based on the deal's enriched company data and your discovery playbook artifact.
- →Why BYOK matters. You already have a calendar and a scheduling link. We do not force you onto a specific scheduling tool or charge extra for calendar integration. Your existing setup stays intact.
6. Analytics (Metabase)
- →Custom dashboards. Metabase connects to the platform's PostgreSQL database to provide analytics beyond what the built-in dashboard shows. Build custom queries for cohort analysis, course completion funnels, outreach performance trends, and deal velocity metrics.
- →Cohort analytics. Track how your pod and cohort are performing. Compare your outreach-to-meeting conversion rate against cohort benchmarks. See which curriculum tracks correlate with faster pipeline movement across the community.
- →Forum and engagement data. Metabase can query forum activity data synced from NodeBB, giving you visibility into community engagement patterns, post frequency, and pod health scores.
- →Why BYOK matters. Metabase is open-source and self-hosted. Your analytics data never leaves your infrastructure. You can build whatever dashboards and reports you need without waiting for us to add a chart type to the product.
7. Community (NodeBB Forum)
- →DISC-matched pod discussions. NodeBB powers the cohort forum where pods of up to 6 founders collaborate. Pods are matched by DISC personality type diversity, deal-size clustering, industry mix, and curriculum stage alignment. Each pod gets a private category for focused discussion.
- →AI bot personas. Four AI personas participate in each pod: Alex (the Skeptic), Jordan (the Builder), Morgan (the Perfectionist), and Sam (the Mentor). They challenge assumptions, encourage action, refine details, and provide guidance. Bot activity fades out as human engagement increases past 90%.
- →Peer review of artifacts. Post your ICP document, positioning statement, or email sequence in your pod for review. Other founders and the AI personas provide structured feedback. This is where your artifacts get pressure-tested before you use them in real outreach.
- →Why BYOK matters. NodeBB is self-hosted on our infrastructure via Docker. Your community data, conversations, and peer feedback are not locked inside a third-party community platform. The forum runs on the same internal network as the OS, so pod creation and user provisioning happen automatically.
8. Storage (S3/MinIO)
- →Document uploads. Upload pitch decks, case studies, competitor analyses, pricing sheets, or any reference material. Files are stored in S3-compatible object storage (MinIO, self-hosted) and are accessible from your dashboard and the AI coach.
- →RAG-enabled coaching. Uploaded documents are embedded and indexed via pgvector. When you ask the AI coach a question, it retrieves relevant chunks from your documents alongside lesson content. This means the coach can reference your actual pitch deck when helping you prep for a call, not just generic advice.
- →Artifact versioning. The platform stores the last 5 versions of each artifact type. Your ICP document, email sequences, and playbook evolve as you learn. Every version is timestamped and course-associated so you can see how your thinking has changed.
- →Why BYOK matters. MinIO is S3-compatible and self-hosted. Your documents, pitch decks, and artifacts never pass through a third-party storage provider. If you need to migrate, standard S3 tooling works out of the box.
The BYOK principle
Every integration follows the same pattern: connect your key in Settings, we proxy on your behalf with encrypted storage, results flow back to your browser, and disconnecting deletes the key. We never mark up third-party pricing. We never persist data we should not have.
The OS is the orchestration layer. The tools are yours. The data is yours. That is the deal.
What is next
Notion export is already live for artifact and playbook export. We are watching which integrations get used most before building more. If you are connected and have feedback, reply directly to any OS email or post in your cohort pod.

How does Bring Your Own Key pricing work with GTM OS?
You connect your own API keys and accounts for every external tool, then pay each provider directly at their own pricing. GTM OS charges nothing extra for the integration layer and never marks up third-party pricing. You plug in your credentials in Settings, the platform proxies calls on your behalf with encrypted storage, and disconnecting a key deletes it from the system.
Which AI providers can I connect to GTM OS?
The platform supports three AI providers out of the box: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and OpenRouter. You choose which one powers your coaching, assessment grading, and roleplay sessions by setting a single environment variable. OpenRouter gives you access to dozens of models through a single key, so you can pick the model tier that fits your budget.
Does GTM OS sync with Attio for CRM data?
Yes, the integration supports bi-directional pipeline sync. Deals you track in the OS push to Attio automatically, and stage changes you make in Attio flow back into your OS pipeline view. You can also click Enrich on any deal card to pull Attio firmographic data like company size, industry, tech stack, and funding stage inline.
How does email sending work with my own domain?
You connect your own SMTP credentials or email API key, and outreach sequences send directly from your domain instead of a shared platform IP. This means your sender reputation belongs entirely to you with no shared risk from other customers. The platform also integrates Hunter.io for domain search, and Hunter's free tier gives you 25 searches per month.
Does GTM OS automate LinkedIn outreach actions?
No, the platform does not automate LinkedIn actions to protect your account from restrictions. The AI generates personalized connection request templates and follow-up message sequences based on your target buyer personas, then you copy them to LinkedIn manually. Your LinkedIn account, your actions, and your reputation stay entirely in your control.
